Miss Jill Corey
Jill at the Copacabana
 ..
Fresh from two major hit records, multiple guest appearances on television and from joining the resident cast of Your Hit Parade in 1957, Jill became one of the youngest performers ever to headline at New York City's famed Copacabana nightclub in August of 1958.  Jill is pictured here in the actual (pink) gown that she wore on opening night of her engagement at the Copa.  Click here and hear Jill describe her appearance at the Copa as she tells the host of one of her many syndicated radio shows.

In 2006, the history of New York City's renowned night club was documented by author Kristin Baggelaar in her book appropriately entitled The Copacabana.  In the book Ms. Baggelaar used the picture of Jill displayed above.  On October 27, 2007, Ms. Baggelaar hosted a combination book signing and reunion of former Copa girls and performers who appeared at the famed nightclub throughout its long history.  The event was held at the Barnes and Noble book store in Greenwich Village in Manhattan, where Jill attended the festivities.  Below we have reproduced a few photographs taken during the weekend event.
