In
2006, the history of New York City's renowned night club was documented
by author Kristin Baggelaar in her book appropriately entitled The
Copacabana. In the book Ms. Baggelaar used the picture of
Jill displayed above. On October 27, 2007, Ms. Baggelaar hosted a
combination book signing and reunion of former Copa girls and performers
who appeared at the famed nightclub throughout its long history.
The event was held at the Barnes and Noble book store in Greenwich Village
in Manhattan, where Jill attended the festivities. Below we have
reproduced a few photographs taken during the weekend event.
